Ahh, I love my job, truly I do, but today was one of those days that I could seriously have done without. -_- This isn't really complaining more as it's just blah, getting it off my chest and it's an excuse to post an entry.

Was scheduled for work at 1 today, no biggie. Pup, Kitty and I just happened to be out running some quick errands. That and we were taking Puppy to Olathe, apparently somebody needed some computers out at the plant asap. Dave ends up calling me around 11, asking if I could come in early, saying something about the boiler having issues among other things and needing some extra help. Of course I say yes and get there around 11:30. Turns out that yes they were a bit swamped and there were PLENTY of clothes to tag, and poor Ryan couldn't do it all on his own. So while working like a fiend I figure out just what sort of technical problem we were having.

Turns out that something malfunctioned in the boiler (our brand NEW boiler, btw, they installed it last saturday for christ's sake) right in the middle of production and they had to stop everything. Only a small percent of the clothing from the night before was finished. They had no hot water and no steam to press anything. Great, that means unhappy customers, and with Ryan and I being the CSR's, it's our job to deal with them. Jooooy.

I don't mind dealing with customers, because most of them are nice! Hell I can even start up a conversation with a few. There's always the occasional problem customer that we just loathe to deal with, but eh. That happens everywhere, especially in retail. Thankfully though, most of them were fine and realized that it wasn't our fault, I couple got a little miffed but I think it was more at the situation than at us, or so I hope.

Speaking OF miffy customers though. While tagging the clothes I happened to see a customer, an elderly gentlemen, walking up with a shirt on one of our hangers still covered in the plastic. Oh dear, he's bringing something back, this means there's an issue. And I'm the lucky gal that get's to deal with him, great. I'm not sure how to exactly handle (correctly) customer complaints there yet, and I tried to do the best I could. Though it turns out that it was his fault in the first place.

We have a policy at Tide Dry Cleaners, that we only launder men's dress-shirts if their 100% cotton. The rest is dry cleaned, unless asked otherwise. (I mean hello, 'dry' cleaning). Laundry price is $2.00, for a shirt. Dry cleaning price is around $6.50. This man brought in just a normal T-shirt like you'd get at Wal-mart, and started complaining that we overcharged him for dry cleaning this when it could have been laundered just as easily, although, he admitted that he didn't mean to bring the T-shirt in in the first place, and just wanted his dress-shirts cleaned.  And while I understood completely there was nothing I could really do. I thought at first that T-shirts were laundered there, and I actually tagged an order that way, but I ended up getting in trouble with Shar for it and we had to go back and re-tag that order.

I even explained that story to the man and he still got huffy with me, even pulling the, "Well what would YOU do if you were in my position?" (Tell you what I wouldn't do, is not be a fucking ass, that what. Wot wot! Go home and cry asshole.). Saying that it still should have been laundered regardless and we jiped him, and even though I would agree with him. I still have to follow the rules and I couldn't give him his money back or change the price on it. I kinda froze and as much as I attempted to explain and tried to calm him down, it didn't exactly work. He ended up asking for the manager and Dave had already left for the day, so he left his cell number and I wrote a note down for either Dave or Shar to call him, or he wasn't coming back, ever. Or so he said.

Turns out I was in the right like I thought I was, and Shar called him and issued him some store credit just to make the fuckin' fart happy.

Sometimes... I hate people. *shrug*

Oh god, am I actually posting here again? Good lord!

Okay so, long time no see eh? I don't think I'm going to bother with trying to start with where I left off last. Too much time and my memory's crap!

Allright, big news! Finally got a job! And from said job is where I sit typing this to you. Why? Because it's Wednesday, and wednesday's are 'dead days', and there's not much to do. Where am I working? A drycleaning store. Tide Dry Cleaners to be exact. Some sort of thing there testing out, before going national or whatev. Wot wot! It's quite a bit of fun, and I enjoy the work, even if it is a little fast paced at times. This is my second week and I've pretty much got the hang of things, still got stuff to learn but I've been given quite a few compliments by Shar and Dave (the owners) that I've done a good job. So! I'm happy.

Been writing a bit recently too, which is interesting. Oddly enough I'm not doing anything for NaNoWriMo, though i have been encouraged, but I dont think I'll be able to make 50,000 words NOW, but that 's okay, my kitty is doing it and I need to cheer her on. Ra raa? -chuckles- I've been drawing too (of course, like I ever do anything else), I've just been in a more 'sketchy' mood rather than actually finishing anything mood. Which is bad, because I actually have some art trades I need to get done. <.<;;;  Among other ghings, annnnd, Melissa has been pestering me to finish a few things. Heh, I think she likes pestering me just to pester, but I will finish them I promise! Just dont ask when Lishie! Muahaha.

I dunno, I guess I'll just have to write down everything in a list or something and stick it up on my wall. :/

So yeah, that's that stuff there. Also getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hate just saying "The holiday season" because every one associates that with just christmas or whatever the heck y'all celebrate.

"I dont celebrate 'holiday' I celebrate Christmas, may yours be merry." As said by a lovely flair I found on facebook the other day. Muaha.
And poor Thanksgiving, just gets so overlooked. I, however, am looking forward to it, why? Because we're actually doing it ourselves this year. Although, i would actually love to sample Kitty's mum's cooking again. Oh GOD was I in heaven. She went all OUT last year. Ahh... *swoon* Ah well, I get to have her cooking for Christmas!

Allright, I'm gonna stop yammering, mostly because it's almost time to get ready for close. Later!

Wow, it's been a while hasn't it?

Damn, I really need to update this more.

Um... okay.... sooo.... where the HELL was I? XD Hokays, so, things that happened since last entry:
Tore some tendons in my hand.
FINALLY got my glasses.
Went to Wisconsin for the holidays.
Drew a HELLUVA lot of stuff.
FINALLY got to see Mel again.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff huh? I mean that's not everything, but that's the majority. Now! Details.

So Kitty and puppy are showing me around Lawrence like I said in the last journal, and they were showing me around KU campus. There's a park on campus and after they'd shown me all the buildings we were walking around the park. Giggling and goofing around, rolling down hills, running through the trees, and the like. Then we all saw a platform surrounded by rocks. Kitty jumped and started goofing around. Puppy and I soon joined her. After we had fun with that we all started to get off the platform and continue our walking. I decided just to jump down since the platform was only, what, two feet off the ground??? Bad choice on my part. I jumped off and one of the rocks I landed on just happened to shift underneath me. This of course caused me to loose my footing and start to fall. Within those mere seconds I put my arms out to catch myself, either that or it would have been my head and THAT would not have been fun. Anyway, my left hand hits the sharp rocks first, and it bends back waaaay farther than it was supposed to. Pain shot through my arm and I screamed bloody murder. Puppy and kitty were immediatly at my side, asking what happened.

I sat there blubbering and sniffeling for the next few minutes, not really able to speak but I motioned with my other hand and with what words I could manage what happened. Kitty immediatly got upset and said if the rocks weren't innanimate objects she'd kick their asses. Which brought out a few laughs in between sniffels. We immediatly got back up, (with help from Puppy, since I currently couldn't move my left wrist OR hand) and got back to the car. It still hurt A LOT, and I really felt bad, saying that I ruined our day out. I was immediatly corrected by the Kitty. The day had barely begun so we all decided to continue looking around Lawrence. There were lots of places to see and shops to shop! And even though I was practically one handed, we all had a lot of fun.  Got a few things, mainly a new purse, which I needed like BADLY. We eventually all got tired and went home, immediatly putting an ace bandage to my now swolen wrist.

For the next few days my hand continued to swell and bruise till the point that it looked rather ugly. Puppy got a little concerned at the bruising and suggested that I go the the doctor. Well THAT was pretty much a pain. Seeing as I had no insurance. >.< FINALLY after a lot of hassle Kitty found a clinic that wasn't to pricey. Kitty instisted on paying, even though I had the money. But! we saw the doctor and she was concerned that there was a fracture so she ordered an X-ray. Went through that, got  X-rayed, turns out there was no fracture, but there were signs of a lot of tissue dammage, so possibly torn tendons or ligaments, I forget what she exactly said. Then she just recomened what we had been doing, ace bandage and ice. So all was well. The swelling eventually began to go down and the bruising faded. I began to get more movement in the hand, but I still couldn't do the things that I normally could. Like, open a door, or tie my own shoes, or even button my coat! So pretty much I felt helpless because I constantly needed either Puppy's or Kitty's help with almost everything. They assured me though that that wasn't the case.

Anyway! Next thing, if yall know me then you know that I'm kinda nearsighted, so! That means glasses for me! However, my last ones kinda broke somehow like, about a year ago. So! I haven't been able to see much of anything really. When my ex and I were still together and living with Wolf he ordered me some glasses online. Took them a helluva long time to get here due to crappy customs, but FINALLY I got them a few days before going up to Wisconsin for the holidays. I was SO glad, I could see! XD and they look really cute on me too. I can now pull of the sexy librarian look again! Muahaha.

Anyways, Wisconsin! Puppy's family lives up in northern Wisconsin (or as Kitty likes to call it, "the ass crack of winter" which is basically true), in a tiny little town called Phelps, I'm surprised it's even on the map! And they go up there for the holidays and  such. And since I'm with them now they invited me! Although, since people up there aren't too keen on the polyamory thing, I had to act like the 'roomate'. Which was allright, I've had to do it before, so meh. *shrugs* Anyway. Drive up there wasn't to eventfull, but then again I dont know since I slept through it most of the way, waking up only to get snacks and the like. Finally I wake up and stay awake about two hours away from our destination. I look out side, and it was a winter wonderland at night! Snow was gently falling upon the already white ground, and there were evergreen trees all around us, I couldn't even see through them the trees were so close together! I couldn't see much else since it was so dark. I was so used to the bright lights of the city that I had almost forgotten what actuall night looked like! Heh. Anyway, it's about 4 in the morning when we reach our destination, and I am immediatly freeeeeezing the moment I step out of the car. Of course our hosts were asleep at this hour, so we brung in all of our stuff as quietly as we could. Then we all passed out. Especialy Kitty, since she drove most of the way. When we finally got around to waking up and I was introduced to Jonie, who's house we were staying in. Then I stared out at the sight before me from the large living room window.

Out before me, so large that you almost couldn't see the other side of it. Was the lake, except, it was frozen solid, and covered in snow, I almost couldn't tell it was a lake for a second! That's when Kitty came up behind me and said, "You wanna go out walking on it?"

Hell yes I would! Quickly we ate breakfast that Jonie made for us and got dressed and covered in our coats and trekked out in the deep snow to the lake. It was beautiful. There I was, standing out 30 ft or so out on a lake covered in thick ice and looking at the snowy world around me. For a while there, I didn't even mind the cold wind freezing my ears and nose!

The rest of the two weeks up there consisted of visiting family, going to the bars (and I got in before I was 21 and didn't get caught! woo!) and seeing the sights. There were times where I got really bored, but I also got shnookered (Kitty's word for drunk) try saying THAT while intoxicated! LOL Overal, it was fun, but I was glad when we finally got back home.

Anyways! Been drawing a HELLUVA lot, my inspiration has just been going through the roof lately! I'm really glad too. Because I love to draw. XD

Next and final thing! I finally got to see my sissy again! *glomps her* I'm staying over at her house for the night. Though I'm slightly depressed because she's moving up to New York to get away from her icky mom. So I can understand, b-but this is the farthest we've ever been apart! *whimpers* It really upsets me, but there's really nothing I can do, other than continue to love her to pieces! *clings to her*

Well I suppose that's all. Finally right? Maybe I'll update more often so I wont have so much to cover next time! Love you all! Well, most of you.

Ahhh, first entry, don't worry lovelies! There shall be many more to come!

Hmm, I wonder what I should talk about, introduce myself perhaps? Talk about my life? Eh, it all sounds cliche, but I suppose Introductions are in order.

*waves frantically and cutely in the way only her foxxie self can* Hiii! I'm Kristin, or Zenai, Z, Zee-zee, Moriko, Viperishpath, Viper, whatever you want to call me. I have many nicknames. :P And this is my journal. Were I'll constantly ramble about gods-know-what, mostly of my dailly life or what I find interesting. So, here I go!

Yesterday was pretty productive! Surprisingly, since most of my days are spent drawing and hanging out on the computer. But my two loves and I had shoppings and such to do, but I got a chance to relax and draw before we went. :P We got all that underway, and Kitty had planned on dragging us to Lawrence that evening just to hang out and have fun, but we ended up not making it because Puppy had to work late. Left Kitty and I disappointed, seeing as we dressed cute and put makeup on for nothing, but it was alright, we went out to eat instead and I got to prance around in my new coat that Kitty got for me. I was excited an $100 dollar winter dress coat and we got it on sale for 60% off. How cool is THAT? Anyway. This brings you up to date with yesterday and now we're moving on to this morning.

Since we didnt' get a chance to last night, they're dragging my little butt over to Lawrence today because apparently it's a lot of fun and there's lots of places to hang out. :D I'm easily entertained, so I'm rollin' with it. In fact, I'm actually supposed to be getting ready right now, instead of fooling around on the computer. Might wanna go do that before I literally get dragged away from the computer. xD I'm sure I'll be back this evening to ramble about the day. :P

Later!
